What a cutie!
Hello everyone! Happy New Year! This is Carlos and he is our new little friend in Guatemala. Carlos is 8 years old. We have 'adopted' him...hehe...well sort of..He needed sponsorship so that he can attend school this year. Many children in Guatemala do not attend school because the family is too poor and they cannot afford the cost. Therefore, they end up working at a very young age and not being able to read and write..the basic things we take for granted. I cannot imagine that for my own child. It breaks my heart to think of my child not being able to attend school and get an education. Carlos is one of seven children. He lives with his mother and father. His father works as a baker and makes $40 a week. His mother is diabetic and cannot work. They have their own home, it has only one room. They all sleep in this room, they have four beds they share. This family is very poor and the amount of money they earn each week barely keeps them with food on their table. We are very excited to be able to help him and his family. We have committed to helping them throughout the year as much as we can. We do this in honor of our beautiful son! God Bless!

What a wonderful way to give back to Noah's homeland...the look on that little face is so worth it. Can't wait for us to do that for one of the family's too..thanks for bringing that to our attention...
